Maryland DMV fees

Maryland MVA sets license and vehicle fees. Several rose in 2025: the excise tax to 6.5% and the title fee to $200 on July 1, and license, VEIP and some title fees on September 1. MVA's own pages only answer US connections, so these come from MVA's fee pages as archived in September 2026 and from Maryland law.
