How to book a Texas DPS appointment
Booking is free and happens on the official DPS scheduler. Here's how to do it quickly and get a sooner time.

Many renewals, replacements and address changes can be done online. Take our 3-question check first.

Your license number (if you have one), date of birth, and the last 4 digits of your SSN.

Open the DPS scheduler
Choose your task, then search by ZIP or city. The list shows the next open time at each office.

Widen your search
Offices 20 to 30 minutes further out often have times days or weeks sooner.
