  1. 1Is the car registered in one of these counties?

    Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Paulding or Rockdale

  2. 2Is it a gasoline car or light truck, model year 2002 to 2023?

    For 2026 registrations. Diesel, all-electric and vehicles over 8,500 lbs GVWR are exempt. Hybrids that burn gas are tested.

  3. 3Are you 65 or older, with a car from 2016 or earlier that you drive under 5,000 miles a year?
