Your learner permit
Held at least 180 days if you're under 18.
Under 18: the signed 50-hour certificate
Only if it applies
50 hours of practice, 10 at night, signed by a parent, guardian or instructor.
A licensed driver 21 or older
Anyone on a permit must come with one, or the test won't go ahead.
A registered, insured car in working order
Seat belts, brakes, lights, wipers, mirrors and horn all working. Only you and the examiner ride along.
